Concept for floatation therapy center. My aim with this design was to try to capture the essence and characteristics of flotation therapy. The dark colors represent the peaceful 'black out' sense you experience in an enclosed pod. The use of white and generous negative space creates a clinical and calming feel which mirrors that experience when floating. The out of focus and flowing forms communicate the pleasurable way the mind can wander to random thoughts and reflections during a floating session.
